My favourite gift was from my 3.5 yr old daughter. She made some cute handprints on papers at school. Her teacher framed those up as christmas gifts for parents.

My favorite gift was a cozy new throw blanket from "Santa". I like it better even than my new Flip camera and external HD, because my husband thought of it himself :-). Plus, it's very comfy and warm when we're watching a movie.

One of my goals this year is to cut down on the "little" purchases. My current addiction is to buying Cokes while I'm out and about. I am going to go to cash-only for these purchases (and a budget, of course), and I'm going to be diligent about bringing water and snacks with me, so I'm not even tempted.

I have a goal to finally lose 1000 lbs this year. I am tired of avoiding cameras and moving quickly for fear of fat coming around and slapping the other side.

I also am going to really try to stock my pantry with at least 6 months of food. I have enough shampoo and stuff. The food is hard to stock because they eat it as fast as I bring it in. The more I buy the quicker they eat. My solution- put it in rubbermaid boxes with all the stocked up sanitary napkins on top so they wouldn't dare plunder in the boxes. When I run out of pads I will buy ladies underwear and bras to put on top.

It sounds maybe silly,
Or just so very rare,
My favorite gift this Christmas,
Was time that we would share...

My family is so wealthy:
Meaning educated, loved, and healthy.
We laugh and read and wish and share,
And try to get along and care...
A small house with a welcome,
From parents and a son,
Hello dear friends, some neighbors kind,
Warm greetings, everyone!
