I'm going to organize my shopping each week a little better and just put everything in one post for the week. I will try my best to get pictures, but sometimes it not that easy. With 2 little ones I can't always get the picture mostly because they like to help me put everything away, or just get into everything!
We are going to try to follow a set budget each week for groceries and HBA. For groceries we would like to spend $85 a week and this week we spent $71.41 so we are below our budget by $13.59. Great! For CVS, Rite Aid & Walgreen's I'm trying to spend no more than $20 a week, if even that. I don't think many weeks I will even come close. Like this week. I have Gift Cards for all 3 stores. I spent a total of $8.17 so we are below that budget by $11.83. I still have balances on 2 of the gift cards for next week too.
Here is the breakdown by store:
Shop Rite ( I don't normally go here but they had a really good sale on some things that me and my mom both use so I took the ride)
10 - 29oz Cans of Hunts Tomato Sauce/Paste = $5.77
4 - 28 oz Cans Tuttorusso Tomato Sauce/Paste = $2.59
1 - 64 oz tin of Botticelli Pure Olive Oil = $7.95
2 - Marcal 150ct Napkins = $1.98

(not in the picture)
3 - Gerber Lil' Crunchers = $3.01
1 - Gerber Yogurt Melts = $2.99
1 - Nabissco Single Cookies = $3.99
Total Spent: $28.60
Total Saved; $16.57
Walmart (groceries) - Sorry I didn't get a picture of this trip
Total Spent: $42.81
Total Saved:$5.82 (of course the prices are less on some things than where I normally get groceries so I saved a little bit more than this)
I was hoping to get the Flintstones but they didn't have anymore left. Here is what I got:
2 - 100ct Splenda = Free with $3.00 printable coupons
2 - Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream = Free with $3.00 printable coupons
2 - Puffs tissue = $1.28

1 - Walgreen's Diapers Size 4 = $5.99 (I've heard they are good so now I'll see. I couldn't bring myself to pay full price for Diapers there ($12.xx) but I really needed them)
I used $5.50 from Gift Card
Total Spent: $8.17
Total Saved: $48.16
The first trip I got lots of Christmas ornaments at 75% off and 2 Hanna Montana things I'll put away for gifts for either my oldest or a friend of hers.
12- Clearance Ornaments = $5.88

#2
Total: $7.22 (put on Gift Card)
Total Saved: $27.42

The second trip I stopped in a different store to see what they had left on Clearance but there wasn't much there. I needed more wipes so I grabbed these:
Used $5.00 ECB's
Total : $3.11 (put on Gift Card)
Total Saved: $10.76
Received $2.00 ECB's
Total OOP: Nothing
I spend nothing at CVS this week due to the $25 Gift Card I got last week for bringing in a new prescription. I had a root canal and needed some pain meds and an antibiotic. Fun times!
I might go back one more time today to see if I can get the Soy Joy bars, but I'm not hopeful they will have any left.
Here's what I got:
Garnier Shampoo 2.00 (will be free after rebate)
Candy Canes : .99
Total: $3.27 (put on Gift Card)
Total Rebate: $2.00
Total Saved: $10.46 (after Rebate)

It was a good week and we came below budget. I'm happy with that. We are off to a great start.

Great trips! If the Rite still doesn't have the Soy Joys when you return tomorrow, get a raincheck. Here's Rite Aid's raincheck policy. I haven't tried it yet, but I did get a raincheck myself for the Soy Joys.
